We collect the minimum data necessary to operate GameGuide:
Your browser stores conversation history, selected character, theme preference, and field notes locally using localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you send it as part of a chat message. You can clear it at any time using your browser settings or the /clear command.
Chat messages are sent to third-party AI inference providers (such as Cerebras, Groq, Anthropic, or OpenAI) to generate responses. These providers have their own privacy policies. We select providers that do not train on user data, but we encourage you to review their policies independently.
Free-tier users see first-party banner ads served from our own servers. We do not use third-party ad networks. No tracking pixels or ad cookies are used.
Session data (free chat counter, subscription status) is stored in server memory and may be reset on server restarts. Email addresses are retained until you request deletion.
You may request deletion of any data we hold about you (email address, session data) by emailing dhm@wakaicorp.com. We will respond within 30 days.
GameGuide is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this policy at any time. Changes take effect when posted.
